Formed by father and daughter team when the business they were working for closed down, Red Garden Manga was created with one mission in mind – to keep and expand the beautiful world of manga within Reading!
Almost 10 years later, they’re still going strong despite the many challenges we’ve faced! We’ve had our own physical shop that’s ceiling partially collapsed on Christmas Eve, 6 staff members, loyalty cards, attended conventions across the UK, produced our own calendar, raised money for victims of the Japanese Tsunami, had our very own poster girl Scarlett and started up an artist group and given them a platform to attend events such as MCM Expo to showcase their work. So, not much then?!

This is a real gem of a shop.
It is just on the edge of town, tucked in next to the knob shop. The people in here couldn’t go out of their way more for you, they are full of advice and ideas. The shop itself is very nicely laid out and jammed full of all sorts of exciting little finds – books, comics, dvd’s and collectibles. My son adores this place and is always saving up his pennies for a visit here, either for books and figurines, or pocky! :)
They are even happy to help you out via e-mail and will order anything you want.
